At first, Loki didn't believe he'd find the atmosphere afforded this place by its dual suns oppressive, but it was damned hot, and the night offered a reprieve the frost giant couldn't avoid taking advantage of. It helped that the sky offered a beautiful spectacle that made him a bit homesick for a world that no longer existed, to spite the refuse that passed for dwelling in this place.
It was nearly possible to ignore the ramshackle nature of the place here at the wall, though, and just enjoy what beauty the place had. It was with an uncharacteristic amount of melancholy that he leaned against the wall, arms crossed, eyes skyward, and then the fiery glow off to his right distracted him from his reverie, which was welcome, considering the direction of his thoughts.
He smirked a bit in amusement at her reaction. He'd never sensed power quite like hers before, which only added to her mystique.
