Gwen was starting to love nights in Haven. It meant people weren't lunatics, and it also meant it was so much cooler out and for a Spider-child? The heat can be a bit much.
But at night, it's cool enough for a hoodie and peaceful enough that said Spider-child can sit down and relax.
It's also pretty telling if she can look at the man with the baby in the pod and not blink. She's seen so much weird shit, both in and out of this fluctuating universe, that it doesn't strike her as weird. So she speaks from the comfort of the lawn chair she brought outside to watch and sketch the Aurora, sketch pad resting on her knee and a tin can full of colored pencils on the ground nearby.
"Your baby is adorable," Gwen states with a small smile.
