When a train brings the unsuspecting fairly regularly, one makes a habit of including the platform in their wanderings, and the sound of a familiar voice makes his breath catch. He hasn't stepped from the shadows of a nearby ruin, not yet, but he swallows nonetheless. When he'd chosen his sacrifice, he'd accepted never seeing his adopted brother again, and now, here he is, confused (understandably) but whole.
