ARRIVAL Standing just a few feet away from the information booth where she had appeared moments before, Allison Argent frowns to herself as she studies the map that has a little star indicating her destination. She really has no idea what is happening at the moment but she decides it could be worse. A lot worse.
Plus it seems like she might be stuck at the moment, so she chooses to compartmentalize some of her feelings in favor of just trying to make it through the next minute and then the next since there is no use in breaking down. Not even when she has her very last minutes playing through her head over and over as she continues to stare at the map like it might give her more answers than where she apparently has a home.
BEACH BREEZE A little while later, Allison can be found outside of the place with a strawberry-banana smoothie in hand as she watches her surroundings. She probably looks just a little out of place considering everyone seems to be in beachwear and she....isn't. Sure, her dress is floral but it is still all dark colors along with her pants and her jacket that she has closed at the moment. She is even wearing what looks like a bracer on her one arm, almost like what an archer would wear even though there is no bow in sight.
Tucking some dark hair back from her face, she looks this way and that before she starts towards the boardwalk to check things out there. Really, she is just going to wander around for a while until she gets up the courage to find the house that is meant for her.
HOME...? There is no way to escape it.
Allison realizes as much when the hour gets late and she realizes that she needs to find the place that is indicated by a star on her map. So she follows the directions until she reaches the area filled with houses and eventually finds the one meant for her.
Not that she is able to go in right away, not when it's all dark and empty because she knows she won't find her Dad in there. She won't find anyone she knows in there and that thought leaves her with an aching sense of loneliness.
